I was there, i live about 10 min from this area. Why do they have destroy such works of art like danvers state. Its a shame
So, is that a shadow ghost, or part of the movie or a trick of the lighting???
Doesnt look like a hydro tub to me. Just looks like a normal tub and shower. Hydro tubs of that era usually had like a headboard attached with various gauges and dials, and a fixation point for canvas sheeting over the top.

There were a few in Minnesota, Fergus Falls might be the only remaining one. There were Kirkbrides in Missouri, Kansas, Indiana, and Illinois (Independence and Clarinda State are still an operating Kirkbrides in IL) and the Cherokee State Hospital Kirk is being used by dept of corrections in Iowa.

No, I've only discovered this in 2003... I explored Kings Park Psych a bit but didn't start shooting until I got a digital camera, when my first shoot was at Buffalo Central Terminal - http://www.opacity.us/...central_terminal.htm

this is a REALLY informative document i found online. It's like of a summary of various statistics of danvers state for the whole year of 1940. i came across this while trying to do research on my great-grandmother, who i just recently about 3 months ago) found out was admitted to danvers for a nervous break down and severe depression. i just thought that maybe mr. motts would find this interesting or whoever else. i know i did. especially around pages 12-15. let me know if the link doesn't work, but it should. here it is
