It's a shame that it was torn down for profits.
I look at that picture and i swear I can see the souls of those who walked around the solarium when it was opened. They would let the sun's rays warm their faces. Now they do the same but as ghosts and the light is no longer attainable for some.

I did my psych nursing rotation at this hospital..it was creepy occupied in the late 80's!! The halls were long and they had these large open areas, called common rooms where all the patients hung out...sometimes they'd fight...if they're "area" was invaded by another patient...

For the Record, NOTHING was "demolished" for the condos. ALL property was saved and converted.

Only one original cupola (steeple) was lost to the fire and the "three condos" that burnt down was an add on and made from scratch as in NOT part of the original arcitecture.

Now all the ghosts of that place has free internet, sweet!

The Avalon Bay Danvers condo complex is very nice, they did a great job saving the place from demolition.

I'd love to haunt the place now, if i was one of the ghosts.
