Okay, let's see here: a very, very long hallway, many doors, many windows, many arches, and...many bats! :)) Nice, colorful photo, Motts!
I'd just love to go ballroom dancing with my husband in this space...once we've learned how to dance! LOL! : D
@ginberry. I agree. The door lintel is very beautiful!
Motts, your creativity never ceases to amaze me! What a unique shot!
Gee Whiz! I know the times I've been in the hospital it would have been nice to know some cherubs were watching over me. The patients here were very blessed to be in a hospital building that was so architecturally nice! If they had good doctors and nurses, too, the patients really had it made.
@Kathy W. Oh my! This is, indeed, stunning!.....Fantastic photo, Motts!
Hmm...Perhaps THIS was the morgue at one time, or at the very least where they performed autopsies on patients?
It's just not cool to be walled off! : ((
Nice one!
Wonderful colors and great perspective with this shot, Motts!
Wow, Motts! Now this is the photo that reminds me of a castle! : )
Center hinged doors...interesting. I wonder how obese people managed to get in and out of the rooms? Also, I would imagine if they had to move furniture in or out of a room they would have to temporarily take that room's door off its center hinges. That would seem like a hassle!
Love the arches, again! However, the bats, their poop, and the mold were a little bit distracting in this photo which made it hard for me to admire the sunshine.
@Sean S. I wouldn't proceed! Those doors just look like they're waiting for someone to step inbetween them, so they can suddenly come together and crush the unwary individual! : O
@Nick. Instead of an lcd tv monitor, I think that might be the door to a 'body cooler' or a cooler for specimens. In other words, I wonder if this was part of the hospital's morgue? Do you know Motts?
