Psych hospitals used to do this because the underwire in bras can be used to injure ones.

I remember this place. I visited my uncle here in probably 1963? I was maybe 10. I still remember the colors of the walls.

Maybe it is logo stamped in case one of the patients escape. They then return them back to their rightful owner. :/

trust me is was a pan. at this place it was hell we were treated like lap rats and the place is haunted

Yes most of them did, as these hospitals were quite large and needed their own steam supply to heat the massive buildings and their water supplies.
