The Asylum Projects websites has a section where members post postcards of these asylums and its amazing how many have messages written on them about what a beautiful place they are visiting or staying at.
Looks like my elementary school! Yeah that was depressing too. This si so blah compared to the elegance of the hospital.
First thought was it looked like a water slide up there.
Back then every entrance was a grand entrance. Love the lamps.
Maybe the constant water running off the stairs is what has worn away that portion of the stairs. That downspout was not thought thru!

These old buildings just had style. Unlike the concrete boxes now.

Absolutely amazing that it is still running. You can just imagine how it looks when the place was in use.
