It reminds of Stephen King's short story "The House on Maple Street".

Eh, I'd say they're a little too "open" to be cubicles. Regardless, it still looks like a depressing place to have worked.

I think this is the best work of art in the building that I've seen thus far.
Sure it appears to be moving up but it feels more like a descent into hell.
So you're saying this happens alot; is that pink sidewalk chalk? Those damn kids!
I especially like that giant impaling rod in the foreground, very comforting.
The upper window looks warpped, bent in wrong places. The history here is almost tangible.
I had a dream about this machine once, it was eating my aunt!
Disturbing......reminds me too much of evil clowns.......(shudder).....or a crazed Ronald McDonald (but then again, he's scary enough.......)
I do NOT want to slide down THAT!!!! :-0
winger: I agree. Really like this one, Motts. The smears of pink aren't what you would expect in a place like this, either. Nice how the chain gets blurry as it leaves the frame. Just like the whole thing overall.
Now THAT's a piece of "equipment" ... ;-)
Looks like a huge, upside-down dead spider...
OK, now THERE'S the mangle.....
It looks like there's a tiny little dark stick figure in the middle doing the "herding", like with a group of circus elephants. Anyone else see the little "person" (just to the left of the can that's by itself the right of the others, in the middle of the frame)?.
