They were open. Most of these places have open doors (if they don't close automatically); I would guess due to personnel checking that every room has been emptied properly and/or explorers checking out all the rooms.

Thats kinda cute, like there keeping each other company! Aww, cute! Ooo, little to preppy there. I like metal. I can almost feel the coldness coming from it. To cold to shiver! To cold to shiver! Sorry, TBM song.

OOOOO, looks like it has eyes. It's watching you, guitorman! Run! Ooo, it has an evil stare. STARING CONTEST? Bring it, wall! *stares at picture*

Future slogan, guitorman? Hmmmmm. Anyway, this picture is sad. Perhaps this was written by a former paient that came by to say that he missed the hospital, therefore, homesick. I think that's the case. Although I could be wroung, I'm only twelve. Yes, people as young as me visit this site. So do my friends. :) me and friends with our dark morbid selfs. lol.

Were the doors originally open, Motts? Or did you open them yourself? Because you think the staff would close there doors before closing the entire building. Makes you wonder if it's....dare I say, haunted? Sweet dreams, everyone!

Tell me about it, Kolfritz. Anyway, I love the carvings in the door. It's way back in the picture but if you look in there deep enough you'll see a beautiful door with Alice in wonderland like carvings. Very beautiful. Also, just a word of advice, when you look at these photos you may want to listen to Nowhere by The Birthday Massacre. If you look it up on grooveshark.com you can find it and listen to it for free. Enjoy the photos. Good job, Motts.

Thanks johan! I've updated the location page... it's too bad the site doesn't give any history on the building.
Take a look at this site, this year it will be an exclusiv appartment building
