When I was in training, we would use these mirrors to be able to observe interviews or sessions without actually being in the room with the patient(s); however, they would know we were there. We also used them as "reflecting teams:" an intervention used for family therapy.

Last word I saw was they are tearing this place down to make a strip mall or something. It's just a shame. I hate to see these pieces of history eliminated. Could be so many things instead of rubble.

My daughter and went up here in 2009 I think. We wanted to go in so bad! I am so fascinated with this place. Love your photos Mr. Mott.
I love the windows at the very top too. This is a beautifully built old beauty. I hope they don't tear it down. Thanks Motts! This gallery was right up my alley. More, more!! Lola
They should really do something with this place. What I wouldn't give to own something like this. Being in the field I'm in I definitely have a good use for it. For a select crowd that is, lol.
I'm a paranormal investigator and I know of a group located in Staunton that does ghost tours around this place but they said they're not allowed inside because of the asbestos. I'd put a mask on and be in there in a minute!
This building is amazing! This shot is so foreboding and a bit creepy
I love the light casting an image of the window on the wall. So mesmerizing
Again, I would LOVE to sit out here for hours! The fresh breeze blowing through must have been magnificent
I could spend hours sitting out here, gazing out over the beautiful landscape.
Oh wow! What a gorgeous old building. Too bad it was left to rot. I would love a tour of this place!
Wow! Talk about a view! I could sit here all day and watch the sun set.
Wow, talk about a long hallway!
Man, what I wouldn't give to walk down these hallways! Motts, was it pretty quiet in here?
