I'm a photographer, over 35 years of involvment in it. I live in the area and have spent many hours, working with models in here, matching their positions and poses to the character and personality of this building. It's an endless source of inspiration and creativity. Only once was I somewhat spooked in this building. Heard something like the sound of something gnawing on metal. Not loud, low, and very subtle. When I went to check out where the sound was coming from, there wasn't anything there. Kinda got to me for a second. But the model and i went back to work and didn't hear the sound again. Awesome place to shoot tho !!!!

Letchworth isn't terrifying at all...its the pure/raw emotions that are left behind

I've been to Letchworth. There is nothing terrifying about it. Nothing. I've walked into the buildings. There is nothing there.
Elvis trivia....Q: Who was on the tv when E shot it?

A: Robert Goulet! (E couldn't stand him)

My husband and I found the morgue today and while we were taking pictures heard an unearthly angry noise. We ran out to find no one was around. My husband feels we got something angry in there. Also a steel door closed behind him in another building. As much as I would feel more comfortable believing these were nothing.....I am sleeping with the lights on tonight

My sister was a patient of Dr. Jervis. She was retarded due to PKU. Thanks to Dr. Jervis she stayed on the special diet and is still living at home-never institutionalized. She is now 57 years old. We used to travel from New Jersey every 6 weeks for a visit to him at the lab in Letchworth. My parents were responsible for having the law passed in N.J. for mandatory newbown testing for PKU.

I'm sure people kept journals, they just kept them to themselves.
