I live in Stony Point and this place always interested me... I have never wandered the grounds and after hearing some weird stories, I never will, ha, but it's a shame there isn't a movie made about this place or something of the sort...

Why is the place all torn apart in the pictures? Is it from vandals/looters, or did the employees leave in a hurry, because it looks like a tornado whipped through...

Ok, it's a first. A photo on Opacity that's actually made me laugh out loud!

What a relief.

(See what I did there? Hmm?! *Groan!*)

I worked at Letchworth for 13 years and bowled in the lanes there. They had 6 lanes for employees leagues.

Every few months me and my friends visit letchworth. My mother worked there, and I never seen it up and running. Me and a few of my friends decided to go there and see what was so serious about it. ... We went to the power plant and all over the doors of the paint shop etc. said enter and die. To be honest, as much as I would love to enter these buildings Im glad I didnt.
Mr Motts,

I will give you some true facts about letchworth if you want. You can e-mail me.

There’s all kind of stories about letchworth. My father started there in 1972, and I started in 1987. Make sure you have all the facts because there were people that resided there and families that will take action there’s still a state law called (HIPPA) and if you film and show names and not knowing the true facts the state will probably prosecute.

Fieldstone is a nice school i wont lie. But it was horrible. The only good thing about it is that you can acess the underground tunnels from the school. But i wont say where to acess them.
