First, the meticulous long tedious hours hard work of filing; maybe the clerks were even very proud of the files - it is difficult to make a good file - we all know this -
and THEN, afterwards, even more hours, days, years meticulously ignoring the files - people worked so hard creating. ... ... ? ? ?
...to me this is a most astounding event - all the eight beds in a straight line & spaced after all these years - am very happy to be amazed /wrong/ about human behavior.....
