Jeebers, Hallucinator, you have a real talent for this. Both of your gifs are fabulous - thanks!
I made this gif out of two photos above - even tho they're not the same, but cool to view here:

i live right across the road from the hospital and its ace to see these pics. it is so sad that its all going to be knocked down. my mum and dad both worked in the hospitals for many years and i have so many memories of my dad taking me in there and meeting some of the patients, and of growing up, hanging out with my mates in the grounds. i have lived here all my life (22 years) its so sad to see it go :-(

I worked on Ward 16 (16A to be exact) throughout the 1980's and heard all about 'The Enquiry' even then as it was still a topic of conversation. My memories of Whittingham are mostly good, a real family within a safe community.
It's sad to see it in disrepair and abandonment. I too remember the staff dances at the ballroom.......

Dont worry about the junkies. I'm sure they're just as afraid of you as you are of them ;) Like previous guy said, odds are they're slumped out on the nod somewhere. I wouldn't being any money or valuables if I were you though. A baseball bat or spiked club should be sufficient to discourage them. GREAT work, btw. Your photography of ruins like this is some of the best I've seen.

Wrong again.
I don't like Everclear because of that.
