My father worked for the hospital for a number of years he workedin the power hse which supplied power to the hospital & also he worked in the bioler hse which pumped heating from x4 lancashire coal boilers fed on coal which then produced steam which also produced all the hot water the hospital reqd.Very sad the hospital has su-come to this terrible state by the then politianians that put the death wish on the institution that supplied hundreds of jobs & feed families for years.
does anyone know exactly where on the site the ballroom is located please?
I think the former occupant of the chair attempted to make an escape.
Yikes, that's a big needle.
Who in the world leaves behind a pallet jack?

It is shocking that the NHS have allowed for this to happen - contents should have been sold on, buildings maintained etc. The NHS should have maintained these buildings - after all they will be still standing when a modern building is crumpling.
Why do they always try to take the fun out of things? People like to explore creepy, abandoned places. Let 'em be.
Too cool - that red is the life blood of the building...still keeping it alive...ssshh! Listen closely & you can hear its heart beating...thump thump....thump thump
Mulder...where are you?
