I think it's cigarettes, there is a smoking room. Besides, I don't think they could poison them, wouldn't that be against the law or is it a new law that your not allowed to kill somebody?

I can almost see the 'Hammer Films' logo over it.
The buildings have a mystique and a power one doesn't get in modern architecture. The beauty comes from the uniqueness that they have.
They are stern, and a bit scary looking perhaps, but this is usually due to age. When they were built, many were originally showcases.
They did this kind of 'improvement' to my hospital in 1997. The ceiling, if they did it that way, whenever they did it is probably suspended by thin wires that are attached to hooks screwed into the original woodwork.
We petitioned, and got the hospital president to cease the renovation, and restore it to it's former glory, a simple fix. Just tear down the drop ceiling and fill in the holes, then repaint or relaquer. Still a bloody shame, however.
A roundabout is some poor sociopathic traffic engineer's revenge on society for all life's ill that have befallen them.. I have been stuck on one of those in London for 20 minutes.. See "National Lampoon's European Vacation"
Anyhoo, I can envision some poor patient getting stuck walking around in circles for hours in one of these...
Well, As a home, I think it would take JK Rowling's bank account to keep it heated, however, with it's long halls, it would be a hell of a place to ride a bicycle inside of, not to mention the other things one couldn't live without, such as a bowling alley, or an inside skeet shooting gallery! :)
Gah! The colours, the colours!
And, my 25th Birthday was almost exactly between the 2 dates (11/16-11/29)
