I've seen pictures of the inside of their new brewery. It's as if the equipment was just modernized. They still have a nifty look to them (the tanks that is...) but they've lost that curvy whimsical look in favor of a much more industrial (but still polished) look. It looks like they are made of stainless steel at this point.

It's a very tiny picture, but you can see the old tanks shine!

Willy Wonka pushed the UP AND OUT button...no wonder there's no Wonka here now...

It is amazing to contrast and compare the beauty of old places against the stark utility of new factories, which have no style at all. Thanks for the pics!

Hot and cold water supply for the vat, looks like. There's a later shot where you can see what looks like a dial-type thermometer on the pipe that leads from these into the vat.
That's my guess.

It's a shame that this building isn't being used.
Over here in sunny Liverpool we call Stella "wife beater" it is the fuel of choice for most street brawls and late night arguments.
"Built For The Ages," with all that marble and ciopper and brass. These people had a tremendous pride in their building and their product and must have thought that both would last forever.... Not quite. Since the beer's still around, though, and I've never had it, I'm tempted to try it now.
