The shufling sound is the zombies going through the secret passages in the wall.
Put in window seats and it would be perfect.
OHH! LOVE tin ceilings!
Go West young man, go west. Sorry couldn't help myself.
I agree with all above.
Sweet! P.S. The correct answer to the question below is black, it's past midnight.

Thanks! Looks like a ribbon, as in an award. Could be a former art room, judging from the cabinet in the background with the mountain of plaster on it.

Cool picture! Was there something attached to the board on the wall? It looks like a piece of paper of some sort.

Continuous bath treatments consisted of tubs of water 92°F to 99°F, where the patient would be placed in for several hours. The water was kept constantly flowing, and both the temperature and patients were monitored by an attendant. Some tub styles allowed for canvas covers that were stretched over the top. You can check them out here:

Other forms include 360° angle showers, high pressure jets:

Shallow "slab tubs" for sponge-washing younger patients without the risk of drowning:

Modern agitation tubs:

As well as hot packs, cold packs, sitz baths, etc.
Looks like modern art you'd find now in a museum
Was there anything in that mug?
I just think of a person being born that year, growing up and going through all the changes and stages that come with life and then this towel just lied there all these years stagnant and unchanging. Everyday is exactly the same. That thought just blows my mind for some reason.
The tub seems really wide and the tiles scream 1950s
How was hydrotherapy done? I imagine there was more to it than just taking a bath.....not exactly a bubble bath with candles and wine.
