I see the conduit cover for the wiring above the transom window, and I think the light switches were put in the door molding - because it was easier to do that then rip and repair the 1+ foot thick brick walls with lathe and plaster? PLUS - because zombies ( need to work them in better, this is just the draft version ).

OK, so I'm wierd about picture moulding, but the way they stop mid arch just does not seem classy enough to match the rest of the workmanship. Ceiling tiles, beautiful, corner moulding, spectacular, picture moulding, meh.

Yes, yes it does. That's why you can hear the shuffling feet of those hiding in the walls. They have to skuttle sideways to get to the secret doors into the rooms.

Possibly weight bearing walls, or, there are secret doors and passageways. ( I hears 'em in the walls, scratching away, lost without light, searching forever. . . for more brains. )
