BKW - that "pile" looks just like that. . a pile! Hard to tell if it's dog or human but either way it's gross. I do like the wide-plank floors though. I wonder if they were covered at some point with carpet, hardwood or linoleum?

Light is pretty, corner is pretty, window is pretty, two-tone wall is pretty, legged sink is pretty, .....but: - plumbing is aweful! Really UGLY!

LucieLou, I agree. The bottles would be considered antiques now. I do wonder, though, what is inside of them.

I'm wondering the same thing, Mica & BKW. What are those white things covered in plastic? Me thinks they were probably never used.

It could have had so much potential if only measures had been taken to save it early on after it was shuttered.

And to think that the beautiful light fixture was demolished with the building. On the other hand, perhaps someone saved it and it's hanging in their living room or den.

All the old buildings had those fallout shelter signs. I remember one from my old elementary school, and doing the drills as well. Days gone by.

So how does the bloke in that wheel chair get up the ladder? ;-)
