For some reason I hate seeing churches left to decay. There's one nearby that I'm just itching to get into. It's a magnificent building and the doors are boarded up, but not the windows. Given it's location, I'm surprised they're not smashed out. Thanks for the new gallery, now I can end my miserable week on a high note!
I can almost hear the echo of organ music from long ago...it seems massive as money said.
HOLY CRAP! That is one steep pitch to that roof...sheesh! Glenn is right...that must've been a BEAR of a job to shingle! :D
JUMP!

Just kidding! It doesn't make me feel very safe that there is NOTHING covering that one "window" like the others...yikes. :D
Only the Shadow knows.....*evil laughter*

Sorry...that just popped in my mind.

I like this. It looks a tiny bit like our attic...just a LOT bigger. :D
OOoooh PURTY! :) I like this shot a lot.
Ack. What a perspective lol! That is one hiiiiiiigh place. :D
I wouldn't be able to resist thumping one of those bells either lol. My hubby used to work for our church, and part of his job was to ring the bell for services, funerals, weddings, etc. and I remember tugging on that bell rope to ring it and being almost lifted off my feet (I am tiny at only 5'0" lol) by the sheer weight of it! What an exhilarating feeling it was though to hear that bell ring...and how LOUD it was too!

Did you see any bats up there? Sorry...silly question I know. :D
nice thanks.
the pews really put the size of this church in perspective.
makes me think of the roofers that went up and shingled the building. must have been one tough job.
i'm guesssing this a rather large window. sure is pretty.
those windows are amazing. beautiful pic
Wow, Slender Man sighting! :D
YAY! New wallpaper for my desktop! :)

This is just...gorgeous. Words do not do it any justice. Beauty as this defies the human language altogether.

That's all I have to say lol.
