Deja vu for me .. in a way. I kept dreaming about a somewhat-lit, turquoise space like this in my dreams. Only, the space was in better condition, and it had a balcony .. either way, it made me stop for a minute.

Funny how this site serves as another world; wonder where I'd be without it ;)
Love the combination of the sunlight and the rusted stairs.
Because really, you should be aware of X Type blood.

Junior?

I take it, the Senior one took a small crew of 6 to 8 men to operate?

Believe it or not, this IS where the pink 'My Little Ponies' zombies came from.

People have often wondered about thier origin, with comfirmed sightings as far away as 1500 miles, the 'My Little Ponies' zombies ( MLP's ) were a rare yet terrifying occurance, in league with the gut-wrenching horror that was the plague of 'Barney' zombies in '08, groaning "I luv you, You luv me" as they rended thier victoms into delicious bite sized chinks.

But, I digress.

Nauseating isn't it?

The development of the antibiotic Streptomycin in 1946 was the beginning of the end, I think it had mostly died out by the early 1970s. Drug resistant strains of TB have started to re-emerge in the 1980s though...

I suppose the heat & humidity rises to the top of these spaces causing the paint to peel at an accelerated rate. Moisture is a building's worse enemy.

That's one heavy duty ironing board. I can picture a middle aged woman with black framed cat eyed glasses wearing a gray hospital uniform dress with a white apron standing here all day pressing sheets & pillow cases.

I'll guess that it is one of those paper wrapping they used to put around the toilet lid at the fancier Motel 6's

"San-i-tized" for your protection

With sanitized intentionally mispelled, 'cause it wasn't sanitized.....
