I am really interested in Kirkbride buildings. Does anyone have any suggestions for a possible thesis topic that involves Kirkbride buildings as the subject? I think it is awful that some of these gorgeous buildings are being demolished!

I never knew that there were any "mental" hospitals in my area, but Clarinda is about an hour away from where I am. I go through there at least 3-5 times each year and never knew it..
