This place has funkey floors and shadows, again if you dont look directly at the cart it looks like it is floating.

Did that wing over there burn at any point? (I didn't read much of the back-story on this building, so if it's in there, I missed it.) It looks as though there is charring above some of the windows.

What a neat shot. If you bump anything it would most likely fall into that black abyss.

Like everything else in life.

I bet if a feather fell on that floor it would collapse!
Still it's a wicked shot!
I think it would make a spectacular wallpaper.

Thanks to you, Mr. Motts, I can explore places like this from the comfort and safety of my computer chair!

When I see a scene like this, I get the urge to grab a broom, dustpan, bucket and shovel to clean up the mess!

I normally wouldn't comment on an older photo, but this is one of my all-time favorite shots. Nothing short of amazing!!

The hallway shots are my favorites . . . . .

I can imagine this same view years ago, when these halls were spotless, white-capped and uniformed nurses scurrying about, with armloads of clean linens, or pushing carts with trays of food or medications, an occasional white-jacketed doctor holding a clipboard, with stethoscope hanging around his neck, walking briskly from room to room while making his rounds. There are many patients sitting in their wheelchairs, staring blankly down the long halls . . . . . . can anyone else see them?
