i used to work in retail, tinting house paint for a MA ben moore retailer
it was a great job, but very stressful at times, but i was very experienced and schooled in the paint business. we had company meetings time from time, and once the 5 store managers (i was one) were all supposed to think of ideas to improve the outlook of each location. my suggestion was to built and install a large oak door going into the stock room in my store. when they asked why, i said "that way when i get stressed during the day, i could slam it..." lmao!!!
the perspective on this kinda feels like a gothic painting, where the perspective is 2 points and tilted up like a stage, a bit of a fun house feel. simple, but disorienting. two thumbs up.
We had these same doors in the first hospital building that I worked in. There was one for Central Sterile and one for the pharmacy.
I think our sign was even the same font as this one.
Now a days the pharmacy is locked up like Fort Knox. There are 2 doors to central sterile that are placed one on either side of the department. Very far apart as hallways run. The dirty stuff goes in one and the clean stuff is passed out from the other. Better for procedures, but a pain when you need something. The dirty door was placed so it was handy to the nursing staff. The clean door NOt so much.
Where there are NO green tiles. I hate that color! It reminds me of the resident bathroom (the big one with the tub and industrial-sized shower) at the nursing home I used to work at. Blah.
Ok...these comments are TOO much! I can't stop giggling...
As for an incentive for NOT being late for work (John you are late again....go clean the sputum refuse chute) I think I would be EARLY every day for work if THAT was the punishment!
