OHMYGAWD - I LOVE the before and after shots, really makes you think. This looks like it could have been made into a library or some other kind of public place and reused.

Is that a row of operating fluorescent lights at the top of photo, or just natural light seeping through?

Do you mean that those supports may have just been left out there in the open for the remainder of the time that the station was in operation?

Reminds me of Penn Station in Baltimore.
