may I add.. I was in a TB hospital abandoned since 1976 that had damn near no vandalism.
the funny thing.. one of my friends and I were talking about how shitty the grafetti in Byberry is.
You would think after all these years of practicing they would atleast develop SOME talent.
Byberry hasn't been closed down "for decades". Bob Casey initiated its' closing in 1987 and it officially shut its' doors in 1990.
All the people I know that have been going there for atleast a decade tell me that vandalism started picking up sometime after 2001.
Nevertheless, thank god Motts changes the names of the locations on this site so these tools don't do to 150 year old kirkbrides what they've done to Byberry.

Radical Ed~my grandparents used to live back on Townsend Rd from about 1972 to 1997. It was right by E-1. My grandpop had a shop and 2 houses back there, til they started buliding the industrial park around them. The road was real narrow and overgrown w/ weeds and cornfields. We used to play in E-1. But, up on one of the top floors, there was a massive hole that went down to what looked to be a basement. It scared the shit outta me. We used to find alot of dead animals and hear chanting and screaming from the people that hung out there at night. Dozens upon dozens of huge fires there too within those years. Was E-1 the main building over there?? Now, I think it's some sort of administration bldg or credit union. Is there anything left of the 'E' bldgs now?

CM~please stop w/ all that whining! It is what it is! It's been like this for decades! Why bitch about it now? If it bothers u so much, why don't you grow some balls and go in and paint over it!?

Is this wall still standing?

They aren't windows, but projector portals. The portal on the right has an obvious crude graffitti drawing of the mascot of the thrash band "Overkill" done by Blitz, a Byberry regular..
