Look at the floor design, lovely. And the brickwork and high arches. You can get a sense of scale (height) by looking at the booths and ticket wickets on each side (that are in dark brown and white). The ceiling must be very high. I wonder if that would magnify the noise or dampen it?

I love trains too and wish they'd make a comeback. Maybe there wouldn't be so many rammy drivers on the road if more people rode the train.
