The people that ran this place could have cared less if the kids had any joy.They were for a large part sadists I would assume and this is what they would think would appeal to children in their twisted minds.

The buildings are not being demolished, the are being completely re-done and will be used as low-priced housing. They are trying to insulate the building so that they can bring in heaters in the winter and wook on the inside then.

Extremely misplaced murals apprear here as sick and hideous.I agree.What joy could be obtained from these murals?I know I'd have a difficult time getting any.

where abouts would you see this sort of decoration these days?No where.It, in my opinion just would not fit modern day facilities,where traditional recreation, to certain extents has been replaced maybe with computers and such like.I think that this one such theory may help to clarify the seemingly disturbing apprearence of such murals.

bread doesn't always go mouldy.If the air is dry, and not danp,the bread will be preserved, but it would not be edible of course!

it all looks like outside the doctors office in the school i went to as a kid. Usually there was only a nurse but when you turned 7 and 10, i think it was, the doc, checked up on all in that year. It took him a day and one could have to sit and wait quite a while.
