Sounds like the Catskills would be a good place to start hunting, JLP!

It could be that what was stored in this room had an offensive odor and the vents were to let some fresh air in, or they once had large speakers hanging on the other side of the door.

Looks almost like the Addams Family house.

I think it's too close to Halloween to be viewing this.

When I first saw the caption, I thought it said 'wheelchair in hell'. After studying the picture, I may have been right.

I have noticed that this building has very unusual architecture, almost as if you are trapped in some sort of bizzare funhouse with all of the twisting, narrow corridors and sickening colors. The horror it must have been to have lived here.

A building like this would make anyone crazy. Talk about feeling trapped....

I really like this picture. I'm not sure if it's my monitor or the picture, but there is a red tone to the trees. I don't know much about photography, but have noticed you mention using infrared. Is that how you achieved this effect?
I think all kids had that toy in one version or another.I believe my parents even have a picture of me with one of those.
In western society you have two attitudes about death mainly. Those who live in terror of it or these stupid kids who deny it's horror.Neither of these attitudes are healthy. One should not live in terror of the inevitable but on the other hand being obsessed with it and saying it is nothing is not a good outlook either.
