Yes, definitely high pressure water blasts, maybe after they put them in ice water for several hours as "therapy". Or maybe they used the ice water as part of the high pressure water treatment; you know, combining two torturous treatments in one to save money. And then when they were finished they sent them to the exercise room to use that torturous weight belt machine. God, the agony! The despair! =8-o
