holy crap, that is crazy!!!! great photo though!!!!!

comparing this tub to the other one, I wonder if they started out as identical tubs and the other one was retrofitted as a whirlpool tub? Except for the pipe on the outside and the fittings on the inside, they look identical, right down to the whatsits on the front.

hos does all of the dirt and plant life get there? anyone have an answer for me??

The eyes of the building just stare at you in the most forboding way. It's a face that tells one what the're entering. The fence just emphasises the ponderness of it all.

Looks like one of the birds that flew in and couldn't fly back out.......
very symbolic of the way some people were institutionalized

Can you imagine pulling up to this forboding ediface and bringing a loved one and saying, you'll be happier here darling. What a frightfully horrid thought. It happened almost every day of week.
