i love this photo, it looks like shes really dead in the bathtub, about to come back to life and eat people.... always good to see a photograph that captures the emotion of the scene.... and hiiii twin!! glad it scared u ; ) xxx
This is truly one of my favorite photos. Given how much I like all the 3,000+ pix on this site, that is saying something. There is something very confusing about this - the various parallel lines of the window panes are true to themselves, yet as a group they go different directions and throw your eyes off. Whatever is in the middle is sort of frightening - is it a door or a window? Why do the panes above it go horizontally instead of vertically like the others? Why are there no panes in the window to the right of it? And the best part is the distortion caused by the wide angle lens, making the room look like it is collapsing in on itself.
This is a brilliant shot. :-)
Thanks Lynne for stepping in on the "crazy" label.
You are very right. If someone is going to use this label on me (as a mentally ill person), they need to have earned that right by their awareness of what I deal with every minute of my life. This is a person who is respectful, supportive, and accepting. They are also individuals who "get it" by knowing that they never truly will fully "get" the personal mental illness experience.
Thanks again Lynne,
