wow. look closely at the floor. it's like, a geographic map. the green mold the land and the blue on the side there is the ocean. haha and standing in the middle of the continent is a chair fit for a god. Very thought provoking picture, Motts.
Great shot Motts!! Love the colors on this one!
Not sure exactly what it is about this one, but I like it.
What's that darker object in the opening? (sorry, my eyes can't seem to make it out)

Is that algae on the floor, or is it grass?

Mr. Motts, were the floors wet or damp at all? If so, it would be a perfect breeding groud for algae.
When I took geology in college, they had a wooden cabinet like this in the room full of all kinds of rocks. I think this would be very interesting to look at. (Yeah, I like looking at rocks and stuff.)
Weird place to store this kind of thing though.

Moisture, sunlight, heat/cold can do very unusual things to the glue that holds those tiles down. Ive layed tile for many people, and when its not taken care of properly, the corners start to turn upward and eventually the whole thing will just pop right off :) The warped corners are clearly visible in this picture.

I wonder what the backdrop of the stage is made of?????

By the way, Im new here. My name is Brian. Hello all!

I'd think that at least some volunteers could be organized to transport some of this equipment to other facilities in need.

Great shots! Thanks for sharing them, Motts.

The joys of a state-run facility. Now, if this were a private facility that closed, you can believe that anything salvagable like this would have been put to good use somewhere else... It's a shame that the government isn't willing to do that to help out some of the smaller places that can't afford nice new equipment like this!
