Yes most windows on this building had a cage over them with two big locks.

I do wonder how clean the abatement was, the building was gutted and demolished very quickly...

Perhaps the old wheelchair was in storage until the entire building became "storage". Or it might've still been a good wheelchair, it was pretty comfortable and still rolled around pretty good...

The lighting is quite sub-par for any medical procedure. The tubs and other related remnants together with the feasibility of manuvering a disabled person to get his/her head into this hole for no real reason suggests this is a towel room.

Lynne, time and time again, thank you for your very interesting and informational peek into the lives of the often unsung and under-appreciated hospital caretaker.

Been WAY too long since I've been here! Our computer is an old dinosaur, will be getting a new one soon.

Right now, I am using my Mother-In-Law's computer (on vacation in Buffalo, NY), and boy, what a ROCKET!

Was he in the old part of the building?
I worked in a Nursing home years back when the fire happened and we got alot of the patients from Worc. State. After the new patients arrived we started hearing rumours about hte living conditions there, but I also hear stories about how it wasn't such a bad place. I would lke to hear more if anyone has worked there.
