I just finished a book on Danvers. It was written in 2005 so iy's fairly recent. There was an interesting part about all the graves that were discovered; incidentally by the Danver's State Hospital Memorial Committee; who they, themselves were former patients. The graves were neglected for so long and so over-grown, the committee had to search and they finally discovered them. 768 people were buried at Danver's and they were marked only by a number. The state "supposingly: lost the records of which name went with which number, so the committee memebers had to research the death certificates in different town halls in order to identify them. I really felt that was really sad. As the book states,"Each had been a unique individual in life yet here they were unnamed and unacknowledged in death. The committee cleared the site and said,"These graveyards have been forgotton--as these people were in life. There are voices here that haven't stopped speaking yet. We are their living echoes." This truly got to me. So if Danver's is no longer there and they build condos or whatever they're going to do, what about this cemetary. Does anyone know?

What all the buildings are going to be torn down! NO!!!

And who bought them and what are they going to do with them? Also, who gets the profits from the sale???

Why on earth would they create these "little" rooms? What exactly was their purpose?

I grew up in Foxboro, My Grandfather was the Head Electrician at the Foxboro State Hospital. I notice in all these pictures you didn't get to the tunnels that run/ran under and across the street to other buildings.

Back from the Buffalo Central Terminal. This place is one of they most haunted place in Buffalo. In the back is the old playground where you can see the ghostly children playing. You can see mentally ill patients wandering though the halls and many rooms. Also what is scary is that all of the surical tools they used on the insane are all still in this building. I dare anyone to sneak in this building and spent the night. Why don't you try it Motts when you are back in the Buffalo area. Also go back to the Terminal. You will like it Motts, trust me.

We just got alot of artifacts back that belonged to the Terminal. A drinking fountain, brass door knobs, and many different signs. Hope to find more artifacts. If you have any send it to the Buffalo Central Terminal. We would love to see lots of artifacts returned to our beloved Terminal.

This is the old Mail Building on the Terminal grounds. This building is in pretty good shape compared to the Railway Express Buiding on the Terminal grounds. Some day me and the CTRC will buy this builging a restore it like the main bulding.

Personally I think 1 or 2 lines a year is bad enough but each to their own.

Seclusion is the next to last stage of intervention. By law hospitals are supposed to use the LEAST restrictive method, possible to quiet the situation. Preferably an event can be settled by the patient verbally contracting for safety .. The process escalates from there depending on behavior.
