Looks like some stripping has occurred here, the radiators seem to have vanished. If you look under some of the windows you can see the unpainted wall where a 'roller' wouldn't fully reach.
Most people just don't understand me
because when I look out a window
it is not tranquility or serenity I feel
but instead, extreme sadness.
I am not sure why that is so
perhaps it is because
when I look out at say, the trees
or perhaps a skyline of gray
maybe even the ocean
even a beautiful garden
I am not there
but instead, in this room.
it makes me think of happier days
spent with the ones I care about
days that were so pleasing
that I wish I was there
just as I wish I were amongst those treetops
or in that vast garden
and not in a plain room
a plain room in my mind...
where I am not with my loved ones
I am not in the happier days.

oh I dunno... maybe the patient in here at one time felt this way. I just thought combining the poem with this picture was really thought provoking.
This brings to mind my time in boot camp a few years back. As a 'modest' girl, the site of these open area type facilities pretty much kept me from having a BM..in fact it was more than 10 days. We had already been issued our uniforms and were pretty much into the routine; I'd finally gotten used to having to constantly wear a head cap outside and to fold and tuck it into the back of my trousers upon entering a building. Anyway.........finally the time had come when I had the urge and the privacy to go to the head to take a much needed crap.....What a relief - I was alone amongst the tens of toilets lined up in there.........I thought I'd never stop- but I did and when I got up to flush - There was my hat......FULL of Shit!!
As you can imagine I almost died of disgust; but in boot camp you learn real fast to deal with it!! Looking back it's pretty funny; and when I see the toilets lined up like this; I can't help but remember boot camp!
BTW: I love this site and the wonderful images you bring to us Motts! Superb! And the regular commentators are both informative and a hoot! Even the ignorant ones!
I did another, more intensive tour of the place this spring, have yet to post photos... not sure when I'll be up there again though; thank you for the offer.
