most british hospitals are well cleared out. much of the equipment can be reused and money in the NHS is very tight. what can often be found when exploring british hospitals are personal things from staff and patients. there is much patient artwork in cane hill hospital ,and patient records were left at severalls ,also clothing and photographs are left in many asylums. it's rather sad that stuff like the artwork ,which a tortured patient has put much effort into is just left lying on the floor uncared for.

Shame that the Main Hall was locked down it has some awesome features .... even the old christmas decorations are still there :O)

I doubt very much that the police would bother to patrol a deserted hospital. The signs just supposed to scare people. I'm sure the police have quite enough to be getting on with on the streets!

I think those markings are for security. They mark the route they are supposed to patrol.

Beautiful - the height the arches give the doorway and windows is awesome. Is that yuk above the door mold it looks more like paint the way it's splattered and dripped down
