Hey Lynne? It's a torture device. XD
I would like to correct your statement that Studebaker aquired Packard.
It was the other way around.
Packard bought Studebaker.
I believe these engines came from an order that AM General got to replace a number of engines in military trucks.Rumor was that these used engines were bought by a surplus dealer from South America and shipped there.
Hahaha for some reason all I saw when I first looked at this picture is the fire exit sign! XD But *is crazy* now I see the room! Great shot! XD
For some reason, this makes me want to cry... =( *sniff*
Ahhhhhhh I'm scared! *freaks out* ahhhhh ahhhh ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! *hits a high pitch and breaks the windows*....... Uh... hehe... sorry =D.... *lies back down on the slab*... XD
What is this then? hmm... *drinks some* tastes a little.. mm... O_O.. is this poisonous?....... x.x

I find it really sad that these rooms are ever needed... but I guess it is to help keep people safe. This world is a strange place.... Anyway... nice shot! =)

I spent this past summer in China, and these types of toilets were all they had (unless you stayed in a hotel, which had the Western toilets that most of us are used to). I'm pretty sure that all of them in China did not have handles, and there were even a handful that did not even flush.
I was in Italy this past winter (Which a few people mentioned above) and I never saw a toilet like this, but I'm sure you people are right and they probably had them places. It's part of the fun of traveling though, you learn to deal with unfamiliar things like this.
Great pictures, by the way. I love this site.
