Yes, the pieces on the right looked like brackets for shelves. The narrowness of this room would make it difficult to be much else than a storage room.

Yeah I played with it a bit trying to figure out its purpose... it seems a bit too industrial to be a medical device, but I'm still not sure.

In Psych101 Light green and light yellow have a calming effect mentally so it was always the choice color of schools and mental as well as regular hospitals.Still is today.

Did you ever consider that maybe her scars were from when she lived at home? Having worked there and read many case histories sometimes going to Pennhurst was a step up from where they came from. You shouldn't assume that because she was black she was abused.

i workek WSH 54-56 and there were NEVER childre housed there

I worked WSH 1954-56. the little things on chair were padded so patients could lay head back when being shaved.they werent allowed to shave selves. just think a little u guys. no one was tortured at WSH ww1acepilot@yahoo.com
