Thank you; I'm not positive on the function of this building, but yes it looked like an old dormitory. The hospital is a cottage plan institution, so most of the buildings look like large houses in a rural setting.

i have been to glendale hospital once. i had a friend with me that got pretty freaked out and we ended up not going past the little run down parking lot looking thingin front of one of the buildings i wanna go back soooooo bad!

rust dont look like dat...it looks like old blood spots...like if da blood splashed on there from an impact to somebodys head or something....maybe one of the crazy people was running from a nurse and ran into the door head first...forgetting the door was closed...

It's really strange in most of these shots to see all of the stuff left behind. I wonder if the state really even cared about this place when it was closed down. This picture reminds me of the ward in the movie " One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest".

This is part of the employee quarters, but when I was there (94 to 96) working in the camp, we lived across the street in condemned buildings called the shacks.

I take great intrest into scary stories and things like that. I have great respect for the dead. I wouldn't mind going into there, but I would never in a zillion years try to vandilize this. This is a place of history, and it really shouldn't be vandilized. I should just be there to be looked at.
