I agree with alot of people in this thread. What a total shame and waste of what was a beautiful building. The stained glass windows are beautiful. They just don't make buildings like this anymore. I do agree in the US those windows would be totally gone. I do hope that they try and save something from this building. If not was a total shame. Just think the $$ it must have cost back in its day and the cost now to have windows like that...heck even the building itself. Of course to restore it now would cost a ton to. Its a shame it got to this point really. What a waste really. Makes me sad.

Very scary....I wouldn't want to be trapped inside that room. It must have been hard as a patient to be staring at 4 walls. I do hope some of them were helped.
