At least it isn't a single lone chair. I feel bad for all the lone chairs you have found over the years - at least *these* have company.

My uncle who was a tough ex-coal miner who worked as a "counselor" at Morganza during the mid-'50s when it was more of a state reform school. Part of his job was to administer punishment to the delinquent boys who misbehaved. Anyway, my uncle had told me that on Xmas day, he and the other "counselors" would unlock the doors to the boys and girls wards, then sit back and watch "the fun". Perhaps this was one reason for those baby cribs at Morganza.
I played trumpet in the orchestra ol f the Persian Room of The Pines Hotel the Summers of 1967 and 1968. The group was led by Sid Wayne in 1967 and by John Danser in 1968. Saul Kaye sat right beside me. What a wonderful experience, especially for a young goy. Does anyone remember? cjandrews46@gmail.com

This seriously looked like it was beyond cool when it was in service! I would have loved to stay at a resort like this. But then again..I am a throwback to another era!
Great shot. Most forlorn ever - these Chaise Lounges look so sad in winter.
A pool behind a fence. Why?
YES - Big rooms - lots of space. Big mirrors - lots of light. Big square lamp - I remember these.
YES, thank You so much; I´ll have a bulb. Little square lamp - still up there.
They invested - now rooms with PINK carpeting all over....floor...wall.
You say even ceiling.
Was this EVER cool?
Did the guest say/think: Stayed in this swell/super/neat room at Tamarack Lodge. All carpet!
And come back for more?
