I like that floor

I prefer to think this was an overflow room, and the staff threw a bed in there for secret lunchtime quickies. But hey, who knows. Seriously I hope whoever saw the inside of this room during it's working hours didn't suffer.

When was this amazing structure built? The clean firebrick indicates it was hardly used, if ever.

I also love this web site too. I've been to other urban exploration sites but most of the time they don't tell you anything about the buildings and you can't comment either. I've always been intrigued by abandoned buildings and homes. I always wonder what happended. Why they were just left and they have become boarded up. Its almost sad really. Just think this hospital once had many patients. Staff and Doctors walking through the corridors. Now its a sad shell. No life to speak of. If these walls could talk....just think the stories they could tell. Sorry , I was in deep thought. Hope no one minds.......Thanks for a wonderful site Motts...please keep it updated. Love it. I get to see places I'd not ever see for myself. Thanks to your wonderful photos. : )

This photo reminds me of another gallery of photos you have ....its a larger rotonde. I think its a French building. For the moment the name escapes me right now. Nice photo Motts....

I'm not too much a fan of the graffiti myself either. Nice hallway shot though......

I so love stained glass windows. Its so beautiful how the light shines through them. Great photo Motts. I'm also surprised the windows aren't broken as well. Its a good thing really.

I have to agree with everyone ...nice arches....beautiful....

The hallway is A-symetrical, looking at it there should be a column on the left that matches the right, but the arch just disappears into the wall. I wonder whats behind it.
