Yes, there's always a rush of adrenaline when I hear, see, or suspect another person to be nearby while exploring. I try to be as quiet as possible as much as I can - it's gotten me out of quite a few really tricky situations, because I saw or heard the other guy before he found me.

There have been a few harsh criticisms, although not as many as I thought there would be. I welcome all critiques, whether they point out flaws or not.

Behind me would be the tall iron gates that make up the entrance of the fort, and behind that is the memorial to the 49 Belgians that were shot and buried on site during the German occupation in WWII. The access road there leads down the hill and into the city of Liège.
