Molly and I saw lots of rooms like this at
Cederwood State Hospital. Because of the types of patients housed there saftey was
paramount.

There were a lot of signs on doors like this in Cederwood State hospital that Molly and I visited last summer.

HOW MANY FACES LOOKED OUT OF THIS WINDOW? SOME WERE SANE. SOME WERE INNOCENT. SOME HAD BEEN THERE SINCE BIRTH. SOME HAD BEEN INSANE. SOME HAD BEEN PREGNANT. SOME HAD CHILDREN OUT OF WEDLOCK. SOME WERE HANDICAPPED. SOME HAD MISSING LIMBS. ALL NEVER GOT OUT ALIVE. SOME NEVER GOT OUT DEAD AS THEY WERE BURIED WITHIN THE PERIMITER.

BUT REMEMBER HOW MANY PATIENTS SUFFERD ABUSE AT THE HANDS OF OTHER PATIENTS AND FORMER EMPLOYEES AND ENDED UP AT THE BOTTOM OF THESE STAIRS! REMEMBER PSYCHIATRIC HOSPITALS HAVE A DARK AND DISTURBING PAST THAT SHOULD BE RESPECTED AND NEVER FORGTTON.

NO JOKE! THIS IS A HOSPITAL WITH A LOT OF HISTORY TAILS AND SAD SAD STORIES THAT WOULD BREAK THE MOST HARDENED OF MEN. WHAT HAPPENED IN PLACES LIKE THIS IS HARD TO IMAGINE, YET WHAT DID HAPPEN HERE IS TRUE AND SHOCKING. BEATINGS, RAPE, MOLESTATION, ELECTRIC-SHOCK TREATMENT, LABOTOMIES (AKA BRAIN SURGERY), PSYCHIATRIC EXPERIMENTS ON LIVING PATIENTS WITH NEW DRUGS (200 YEARS AGO+ TO 1990) NEW "THERAPIES" NEW "TREATMENTS" MOST OF WHICH WENT HORRIBLY WRONG LEAVING THE SUBJECT PATIENTS WORSE THAN THEY WERE, CABBAGE LIKE AND OR DEAD. IF THIS WERE YOU WOULD YOU JOKE? PEOPLE FORGET.....BROADMOOR STILL USES THESE TREATMENTS TO THIS DAY....PATIENTS MAY HAVE IT CUSHY ACCORDING TO NEWSPAPERS BUT FIRST HAND EXPERIENCE CAN NEVER BE ANYTHING BUT THE TRUTH!

IT IS ALSO ON A HILL AND UNDERNEATH THE HILL BUILT ON THE SITE OF WHAT WAS THIS HOSPITALS GRAVE-YARD IS ANOTHER NEWER HOSPITAL CALLED ARNOLD LODGE.
