Thank you for yet another gallery of places to vicariously "visit" :-). Always enjoy these.
How, uhhh......festive?
I don't think there would be a way I could NOT look in all of those, too. Anyone remember Pandora's box? :-)
Geez.. Very few of the places you go would creep me out, but this particular room, lit this way, does. I'd be expecting one of those creatures that can only be seen in your peripheral vision, and disappears the split-second you try to look right at it. I would NOT be alone in this room.

I don't think I would want to spend my vacation there, very cold and institutional
Love the colors. These are some of my favorite shots. OK, I know other people say this all the time, but this reminds me so much of a dream I often have of a stairway that goes down and down and down, and never stops..... Stephen King wrote a story (I think it was him), about a parking garage that went down, down, down, and kept geting older and more squeezed in....anyone know the name of it?

it does look like an asylum only without the window guards
Hmmmm. That's strange, unless it was structural, but then, why wouldn't it be finished like the other walls, and also, it's in a strange spot to be structural. Things that make you go "Hmmmmm"
Beauty in simplicity :-).
LOVE this!!! Great perspective and framing. For those who don't "see" it, I think Motts is standing on a landing or steps between two flights in a stairwell, shooting at the level just above, and the part that looks like duct work on the right is the underside of the next flight. Sorry if I'm wrong, Motts ;-o. Not presuming just a guess.

this is kind of freaky, what do you think Debbie?

I wonder if those were the original toilets. Its kind of strange to see that kind of bathroom at a vacation place
Hmmm. Ummm, just NO. Being "relaxed" about certain issues is one thing. Then comes the line that is not to be crossed. Clothing-optional beach? Fine. Even a rare communal shower at the gym (which thankfully, as far as I know, no longer exists), is still (albeit reluctantly) OK. "Individual-stall-optional" bathroom, however? NOT fine! :-0.
