lovely photos... frighten me a lot tho! I can tell you now, most of that damage was done by local yobs from the surrounding villages. Gives me the creeps knowing i used to go feed the ducks here when i was tiny! then the village festivals in front of st lukes! such a shame they are going to knock it all down and build houses there.
it doesnt seem right to put curtains in wards...they could pose as a great "hanging" device.....well, that is if u could find something to actually hang from lol
looks like something we would do these days as we are all broke from the economy lol...maybe i'll do this in my house to save money hehehe kidding folks! kidding!
i always wondered what this place looked like inside...I don't live far from here and I thought it was weird you hadn't explored this place seeing you hit a lot of others in the area but here it is just under a psedonym but i know what this is ;-) shhh...
this picture is very creepy somehow and seems out of place.
My friend and I were going way up one tall building. We stopped near the top where you had to climb a sketchy-looking ladder to continue. It was totally silent except for a bird chirping inside. My friend climbed the ladder and saw it, but the chirping was just so unnerving, and I didn't trust the ladder, so I, er, chickened out... Honestly though, I never felt anything supernatural, though I've only been to 2 buildings.
The colors are beautiful in this shot. I don't like the 'closed' door either....what lurks behind it?? hmmm....it does make one wonder doesn't it........Just think how busy this hallway must have been in its day.....it really makes you think.....
Yeah it is kinda scary....you can really see how this place has went down hill since its been abandoned. Its kinda sad too. Buildings that were in once great shape...just left to die a slow death. I always think its such a shame when these can't or won't be reused again & given 'new' life. I like it when old former buildings are made over again. Great shot Motts as always!! : )
