Well...I would say that the pipes in the front were the fresh air supply for a number of engines. Notice how the pipe decreases in diameter as it moves to the back of the room. This is to make sure that each engine gets the same amount of air. The pipe that is hidden in the back is the exhaust for the engines. Notice that there seams to be one for each air supply vent. Just a thought.

Seeing as a hygienist named Marcia does most of MY dental work, yeah, I'd generalize fear to "The Chair".

lordy-good-heavens, this is quite something. (about the chipped teeth thing, OUCH, who knows what other unpleasant places that substitute dentist worked/tortures learned in dealing with small children!) That abusive incident aside, I almost find it amusing that dental appointments are what makes most of us batty and our blood run cold. :) ? -I survived 2 years of braces (revolting tasting cement & impression tray stuff) and as far as regular dentistry goes, my 3 or so small cavities were nothing compared to the week following removal of all 4 wisdom teeth (1 with a 3rd root) Nitrous-great! massive-scale antibiotics...sick after 4 days. Not bothered by dentistry, though...until the day I might need a root canal.
