I have a dear friend who passed away last month..She told me that many years ago she was a mental patient at Kings Park.
She told me that on days when she could shower, that she and the other patients had to stand in line naked!
She told me that the whole time she was there it was a total nightmare!

sissy - from what I understand, Byberry had abuse going on up until the time that it closed its doors.

Amazing one of a kind photo. I am a very curious person who loves exploring places too. In the process I've opened many things I probably shouldn't have but I wouldn't open that thing up for a mint full of money!

Yeah, these shots do look like they are from different buildings from the difference in decay... it's possible I ran back into another one for some reason. Unfortunately my memory of this place is pretty vague.

This is so beautifully haunting. One can almost see the spirits of the past. As for Brads brotherly memories, it is touching to hear that someone, at least, was saved from a death in this place.
