It always amazes me how paint peels away after time. The real money would be to come up with some paint formula that didn't peel, but then we wouldn't have these wonderful pictures!!

Although my first thought was some type of soap dispenser, I'm a fan of the fallen fire escape. We'll let this one go considering everywhere you've visited, posted, and shared with us Mr. Motts; you have earned more than a couple of passes. Keep up the great work.

i like that shot how all the paint is peeling away it remindes me of cracked glass but the shot itself reminds me of a hallway in a school

OHMYGOD-- A NEW GALLERY!! I'm so glad I come back here EVERY DAY!!! Mr. Motts, I must say I really enjoy reading the introductions to your galleries ALMOST as much as I enjoy viewing the photographs. You have a very descriptive and haunting way of writing, it really is a pleasure to come here and find a new gallery with some history. I so wish we could meet some day and go exploring. I am somewhat of an artist / photographer myself but, sir, I would be willing to be your "camera caddy" and personal assistant just to go along for the ride! Thank you. i like this shot it just has this cold feeling also when i first looked at it to me it looked like a bathroom

at my house we have a piano from the early 1900s it came with the house and none of us know how to play it but we are trying to get rid of it it was once a player then converted into an actual piano. but yea i like the shot i love how the sun is hitting the piano

It almost looks like someone stacked them up and then had an oversized game of dominos.

don't usually see wallpaper on the ceiling of a bathroom. Crazy looking.

The residential areas look more like a 3-floor Greek society "mansion" than just a "cottage".

...and it turns out that even a velvet-upholstered one of those is a dime a dozen.
