Yes, Any main gates are chained shut, all windows on the ground level are boarded up. When i visited the place, my friends and i were able to pull a board back to get inside but the place is all locked up and secruity now do have motion sensor placed, they have night vison and k-9. The place is locked up tight. It is an amzing place but the risk is high now. we got caught and that wasnt fun.
This shot brings back memories to a degree that I can not even put into words. I was a patient here, and these stairs are the stairs that I took every day for exercise, and for time in the cafateria for visits. I just visited the site of the hospital, which is now a very nice apartment and condo site, and walking down the covered stairs brought back memories that where alot nicer than those inside, but looking at this picture.......

If you do click on my name to read my postings, you have to sift through to the ones with the pictures on here.
There are others Johns that have posted about places I have never been.

If you click on my name you should be able to read all my posted comments on here.
I knew they would tear this down, I posted that I had a feeling about that last year.
Waltham doesn't want the memories of that place to taint them any longer, but those memories will remain, for those of us who was there, forever.

Allyssa,
Sorry, haven't been online in almost a year.
I think I'll sign up for that yahoo group that someone made, if it's still up.

So after I was there they changed the pool room and ping pong rooms into restraint rooms????
Jesus....
I know up on the 4th floor, where medical and dental was, they had restraint rooms and rooms used for experiments.

I also read that someone went in there and got lost???
How could you get lost?
If your standing in the back of the place, centered, then the caffiteria is directly in front of you, if you enter from the left and go through the doors to the hallway, you will come out in the area where we had Coffee hour on the weekends, then just walk out the door and up the small stairs and bingo, you can follow my directions from there. If you go up the stairwell instead of going down the hallway, you'll be on Ward D, just exit there and go down the hall and out through the door and you'll find the double doors to the gym on the right hand side.

But I guess someone would have had to been there to follow my "tour".
